Microsoft has acknowledged recent research uncovering a method to bypass User Account Control (UAC) in Windows systems but has stated that it doesn’t consider this a vulnerability. The company argues that the exploit falls within its policy of tolerating “non-robust” security boundaries under certain circumstances.
